The Survey Genie is a simple survey program designed specifically for two types of surveys, customer and employee. They have a large selection of general questions that the surveyor can choose to place in their forms. While Survey Genie doesn’t provide the option to write your own questions, all questions in the database can be edited or modified.

Only one question type is available, the question matrix. All Survey Genie’s questions are frequency or importance questions; however, because questions and answers can be modified they may be turned into multiple choice questions.

The Survey Genie Gold surveys can be posted on the Internet, distributed through email or paper, or conducted manually through personal interviews. The only design option available is the inclusion of instructions, change of font and setting skip patterns. Additionally, there are few analytical tools. Survey Genie performs simple statistical functions like percentage and mean, but it lacks the abilities of using standard deviation, cross tabulations or correlation matrices.
