SumQuest is a simple and powerful survey and analysis program that works on several mediums including Internet, email and paper. SumQuest can calculate many different types of statistical analysis including frequency tables, standard deviation and correlation matrices. SumQuest is compatible with many additional programs like Word and Excel. Files can also be imported or exported to ASCII programs.
Although SumQuest performs many of the required functions of survey software, it does not have as many design features like font, color or image modification.
SumQuest can be administered in all major survey conducting forms. These include online, on paper, through personal interviews or email.
Surveyors can create questionnaires or modify the small selection of sample surveys provided. There are many question types to choose from including multiple choice, rating and ranking. Although SumQuest does not offer a question matrix option, the multiple-choice feature can be modified to resemble this type of question.
Unfortunately, SumQuest gives you very little control of your visual design. You cannot include images, fonts or background color; however, you can require answers, include skip patterns and allow respondents to update answers.

We found SumQuest to be an easy program to use. It uses a simple interface, which allows you to choose your format then type in your questions and answers. You can also copy and paste questions previously written in a word processor or text writer.

SumQuest is an adequate survey program. It provides many of the required survey software. Because is program is very simple in its design, it does not allow the surveyor creativity. Though it is capable of online surveys, it may be better suited for research development and not Internet marketing surveys.
